Florence Life (www.florencelife.co) is my personal hotel and travel guide to Florence, Italy, and part of the Exclusive Villa Collection family. I respect your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Florence Life is operated by Jason GaNung, based in Florida, USA, as part of the Exclusive Villa Collection family. When this policy says "we," "us," or "our," it means Florence Life. For EU and UK data protection purposes, Florence Life is the controller of personal information collected through this site. 2. Information We Collect

 

Information you give us.
• Newsletter: your email address, and your name if you choose to give it.
• Plan My Stay and trip inquiry forms: your name, email address, phone number if provided, travel dates, number of guests, preferences, and any notes you share.
• Contact and Work With Me forms: your name, email, company, and message.
• Comments, forum posts, or member accounts, if offered: your display name, email, profile details, and what you post.

 

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our site collects technical and usage data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, time on page, links clicked, referring pages, and approximate location. This is gathered through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies used by Wix, Google Analytics, and other providers.

 

Information from partners. If you click an affiliate link and make a booking, the partner may tell us that a booking was made, usually with limited details such as the date, product, and amount, so we can receive a commission. We generally do not receive your name or payment details from these partners.

 

Please do not send sensitive information, such as health details, passport numbers, or payment card numbers, through our forms.

4. Trip Inquiries and the Exclusive Villa Collection Travel Desk

 

When you submit a Plan My Stay or trip inquiry form on Florence Life, your details (name, email, travel dates, number of guests, and notes) are sent to the Exclusive Villa Collection travel desk at https://exclusivevillacollection.com/plan/. Exclusive Villa Collection is a separate website in the same family as Florence Life, and my luxury travel advisory. Your inquiry is handled by real travel advisors, who will use your information to contact you and help arrange your trip. If you go ahead with a booking, your advisor will share the details needed with the hotels or providers involved so they can fulfill your reservation. Hotels or partners may pay a commission on those bookings.

 

5. Newsletter

 

Our newsletter signup form and emails are run through Wix. You can unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by contacting us. We may measure whether emails are opened or links are clicked to improve them.

 

6. Cookies and Analytics

 

We use cookies, including third-party cookies, on this website to help operate our site and for analytics and advertising purposes. Types of cookies include:

 

• Essential: set by Wix to run and secure the site. These cannot be turned off.

• Affiliate partners, such as The Tour Guy and Viator, through referral tracking when you click their links.
• Professional advisers and authorities, when required by law, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
• A buyer or successor, if the site is sold, merged, or reorganized.
