THE FLORENCE HOTEL GUIDE
Hotels in Florence
Start with the Florence you want outside your door. Compare neighborhoods, think through the details of the room, and choose a stay that makes the rest of your trip easier.
Choose the room as carefully as the hotel.
A beautiful building is only the beginning. Ask about the details that will affect your stay before deciding.
Your room checklist
Confirm the bed setup and space for everyone traveling. Ask whether the room faces a street or courtyard, whether there are steps before the lift, and how air conditioning is controlled. Check the bathroom layout, luggage storage and check-in arrangements.
Your arrival and daily routes
Look at the exact entrance, not just the neighborhood label. Think through arrival with luggage, walks to your main sights and the return after dinner. If driving, ask the property about restricted traffic access and parking before entering the center.
What should I book first?
Choose your dates and base together, then review the room category, inclusions and cancellation terms. A central address, a quieter room and a hillside setting solve different needs.
